Returns for Warranty Repair
Merchandise is sold with the respective manufacturer's warranty.
Warranties are provided for the end consumer's use only. If warranty
repair is required, either HomeTech, the reseller, or the end user
may forward the merchandise to the manufacturer. For merchandise
returned to HomeTech for warranty repair, HomeTech may elect to
replace the merchandise immediately, procure a replacement, or return
the merchandise to the manufacturer for repair.
Returns for Non-Warranty RepairHomeTech does not handle non-warranty repair. Consult the respective
manufacturer's customer service department.
Returns for CreditMerchandise accepted for return will be credited at 90% of the
invoice price or the current price, whichever is lower. This is to
cover handling and restocking of the item. Returned merchandise must
be in its original carton, complete with accessories, manuals, and
must be in re-sellable condition. Items that have been used in a
reseller's store, items bearing decals, marks, or notations due to
the reseller or the reseller's customers are not acceptable for
return. This merchandise will be returned to the reseller.
All ReturnsAll returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number.
This number must be written on all correspondence and on the outside
of all cartons being returned.
Please include your name and a short description of the reason for
return, description of the problem, and whether the return is for
warranty repair or credit.
Non-Returnable MerchandiseDue to manufacturer's policies, some merchandise may not be
returnable for any reason. Merchandise that is "close out" or
"special order" is not returnable.
Return FreightShipping charges that are incurred by the customer for merchandise
being returned to HomeTech, for any reason, must be paid by the
customer and not by HomeTech.
Cancelled MerchandiseIt is a customer's responsibility to pay all shipping and restocking
charges that accrue due to customer cancellation or merchandise
ordered but refused on delivery. All C.O.D. orders that are refused
will be charged an additional $15.00 charge plus the shipping
charges, plus the restocking charges.
