The PS-12 subwoofer was designed for exceptional performance and value. It features a 12'' extra-long excursion woofer with high BL motor. The bass reflex enclosure with flared port ensures extended bass response and high acoustic efficiency.

The woofer is driven with an integral 300W class A/B amplifier utilizing the patented BASH® technology for high electrical efficiency.

The integral rear-mounted 300 watt amplifier includes level, phase (continuously variable 0-180°), and crossover control to contour the subwoofer's output to blend with virtually all loudspeakers and room environments.

The integral low pass crossover network is continuously-variable from 40Hz to 120Hz and can be bypassed if it is preferable to use an external crossover located in an outboard receiver or processor.

The PS-12's integral amplifier incorporates a defeatable signal- sensing circuit that automatically powers up the amplifier when a signal is detected.

A double-insulated isolated-ground electrical supply prevents electrical ground loops and reduces the noise floor of the entire audio system.

The PS-12 is shipped with adjustable feet, (4 spiked and 4 rubber) with tool-less knurled jam nuts. These feet can be installed in the bottom of the enclosure in either a 3-point triangular pattern or more traditional 4-point square pattern. The bottom of the enclosure has 5 threaded inserts arranged to accept either pattern.

The Registered Bass 12" In-Floor Subwoofer is designed to mount in standard frame construction floors. With proper preparation it may also be mounted in ceilings. The revolutionary and space saving design allows the enclosure to be installed from above the floor (or below the
ceiling). Once the wire is in place, installation is easily accomplished from within the living space, not under the floor or above the ceiling.

Use a standard size 6" x 14" register vent (diffuser) to cover/trim the flange opening.

No diffuser is included with the unit.

Choose a standard size diffuser to match the other forcedair system diffusers in the house. Choose a diffuser that is tightly constructed. Some of the best diffusers are very rigid however contain adjustable louvers. If you chose a diffuser with adjustable louvers make certain that these louvers can be removed otherwise they will resonate.

Foam stripping is included for placement between the mounting
flange and the diffuser for a positive fit.

Because the unit's widest dimension is only 14 1/4" it can be positioned either way between 16" on-center members to match your room layout regardless of which direction the floor joists run (see Top View illustration).

The STUD Woofer is for people who want an in-wall subwoofer that is a near equal to the sound quality of the best cabinet style subwoofers without the inconvenience of fitting another 'box' into their living space. The crossovers for the SE10SW and SE10SWD are sold separately because you may not need them.

If you use a single in-wall subwoofer, use the dual-voice-coil version (SE10SWD). It connects to both the left and right signals from your amplifier. If you plan to use two subwoofers (left and right), use two of the SE10SW versions.

If your stereo has separate low-pass speaker-level outputs for the subwoofer, you willnot need an additional crossover. If not, you will need two crossovers (MX10's); One for each channel.

The MODEL 500 subwoofer amplifier was designed to offer performance, value, and flexibility. It incorporates a 500W class A/B amplifier utilizing the patented BASH technology for high electrical efficiency.

Four independent controls offer flexibility to integrate nearly all subwoofers with the main speakers and the listening environment. The continuously-variable low pass filter network is adjustable from 40 to 120Hz and can be bypassed if it is preferable to use an external filter or one located in an outboard receiver or processor. The continuously-variable phase circuit is adjustable from 0 to 180 degrees to finely integrate the subwoofer with the main listening speakers.

The MODEL 500 incorporates a unique subsonic filter adjustable from 20 - 35Hz that limits/extends power output to the lowest frequency the subwoofer driver is capable of reproducing. This maximizes performance, helps to protect the subwoofer driver from being overdriven and will reduce distortion by limiting extreme subwoofer driver excursions.
A defeatable Auto-power mode turns the amplifier on automatically when a signal is detected. The Auto-power mode can be defeated if it is desirable to use a remote AC circuit to control the amplifier (on/off) power.

Dual subwoofer outputs allow multiple woofers to be connected to the same amplifier without having to resort to pigtails, wire nuts, or specialized connectors.

The MODEL 500 incorporates stereo Line-Level inputs and outputs that permit the amplifier to be connected between a preamplifier and amplifier without the need for Y-connectors. The Line-Level inputs also incorporate a buffered internal summing network so that a mono signal is derived from the left and right channels while maintaining the stereo signal integrity for the main stereo speakers. A double-insulated, isolated-ground electrical supply prevents electrical ground loops and reduces the noise floor of the entire audio system.
