Description

Use this thermostat for full X-10 control of your HVAC system. It installs in two pieces: The thermostat, which replaces your existing thermostat. And the control unit, which goes back by your HVAC equipment. The control unit and the thermostat talk over the same wires that your old thermostat used. (4 conductors min.) The control unit has a plug-in power supply and a TW523 to receive the X-10 commands. The control unit connects to the HVAC equipment where your original thermostat wires connected.

For control, you can adjust the mode and temperature setting at the thermostat, send X-10 commands manually from any X-10 controller or from a whole-house controller such as ActiveHome or HomeVision. Use this small remote temperature sensor with the TXB16 thermostat. It connects to the thermostat with four conductor wire. Place the remote sensor near an air return duct for best results.

Sensor is only 1.5' X 2' X 1' Thick.
