Model UMA is a plug-in module designed to control the operation of 120VAC appliances, motors and fluorescent lamps based on digital commands received over the powerline. The module communicates using the highly-reliable Universal PowerlineBus (UPB) technology. UPB devices such as Model UMA are easily integrated to provide a flexible, low-cost alternative to hardwired or RF home automation strategies.
Model UMA delivers on/off control for appliances and lighting up to 12A. Installation is simple: the module is plugged into a standard 120VAC outlet and the device to be controlled is plugged into the bottom of the module. A non-controlled convenience outlet is also provided on the face of the module. The connected device can be operated manually using a UPB wall switch or multi-button controller, or automatically via PC or home automation server.
Model UMI is a plug-in module designed to identify and transmit the status of low voltage inputs and contact closures, and to control the operation of low-power actuators based on digital commands received over the powerline. The module communicates using the highly-reliable Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) technology. UPB devices such as Model UMI are easily integrated to provide a flexible, low-cost alternative to hardwired or RF home automation strategies.
Model UMI is useful for detecting events such as a ringing telephone or doorbell, or for monitoring alarm switches on doors and windows, or for sensing audio signals from a sound system. The outputs deliver on/off control for low-power electrical devices such as door strikes, drapery controls, central vacuum controls, electric fireplace actuators, garage door openers, sprinkler valves, etc. Installation is simple: the module is plugged into a standard 120VAC outlet and the devices to be monitored/controlled are wired into a terminal block on the bottom of the module. A non-controlled 120VAC outlet is also provided on the face of the module. Connected devices can be operated manually using a multi-button controller, or automatically via PC or home automation server.
The HAI UPB Lamp Module is a plug-in dimmer that incorporates the UPB two-way powerline communication technology, which gives it the ability to be remotely controlled by UPB compatible controllers. The Lamp Module has one UPB controllable outlet that can sense the lamp's local on/off switch to turn the lamp on even after it was turned off using UPB control. The HAI UPB Lamp Module is also capable of transmitting UPB messages (including current light level) when the local switch is used to turn the lamp on.
Model UML is a plug-in module designed to control the operation of 120VAC incandescent lamps based on digital commands received over the powerline. The module communicates using the highly-reliable Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) technology.UPB devices such as Model UML are easily integrated to provide a flexible, low-cost alternative to hardwired or RF home automation strategies.
Model UML delivers on/off and dimming control for lamps up to 400W. Installation is simple: the module is plugged into a standard 120VAC outlet and the lamp to be controlledis plugged into the bottom of the module. A non-controlled convenience outlet is also provided on the face of the module. The connected lamp can be operated manually using a UPB wall switch or multi-button controller, or automatically via PC or home automation server.
