Temp Sensor In/Out
The Model 31A00-7 and Model 31A00-8 Indoor/Outdoor Temperature Sensor is used for sensing outdoor or indoor temperature. It is coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture and features a new, high accuracy temperature sensor that doesn?t need calibration.
The temperature can be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, and coolers. The temperature can be displayed on the console or spoken over the telephone. It can also report, log, alert, or generate an alarm if the temperature reaches freeze conditions or if the temperature goes above the high setpoint or drops below the low setpoint programmed in the system.
The Model 31A00-8 also includes a Humidity Sensor that is used for reporting the outdoor or indoor relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. High and low humidity limits can be set for taking action (i.e. turning on the bathroom vent fan, running a/c in de-humidification mode, turning on humidifier in heating mode, etc.) or reporting high or low humidity conditions in homes, greenhouses, wine cellars, coolers, humidors, etc. Controlling humidity is particularly helpful in combating the growth of mold in vulnerable areas of the home, such as bathrooms, basements, attics, etc.

The Windows® Home Server is a central server that stores, organizes, protects, and allows you to share all of your digital photos, music, video, and documents, while running quietly in the background. WL3 is an Add-in for this server that allows you to monitor and control your HAI home control system from any device with a web browser, such as an iPhone 2.0, iPod Touch, BlackBerry, Smartphone, computer, PDA, etc.
Simply pull up WL3 on a browser and you have instant access to your HAI home control system. From there you can:
* Conveniently control individual lights, turn off all lights in the home or room, dim lights or adjust preset lighting scenes
* View surveillance cameras - see your front door, pool, boat dock, etc.
* Conserve energy by adjusting heating and cooling and view humidity and outdoor temperatures
* Arm or disarm the alarm, view a security log to monitor activity of housekeepers, nannies, etc.
* Control your Multi-Room Audio system. Select music source and adjust volume levels in individual rooms or the whole house

HAI Snap-Link
Home Technology that is a SNAP!
Snap-Link inserted into Laptop Snap-Link software is sold on an USB key that plugs into any computer to monitor and control lights, security, temperatures, and webcams over the Internet.
It communicates through a secure Ethernet port on an HAI home control system - no on-site computer needed!
Snap-Link is easy to use and easy to setup because it is self-contained on the USB drive. All you have to do is plug the USB Drive into any computer and Snap-Link becomes available. There is no installation of the program, and when you are finished you just unplug the drive and leave no residue of the application on the computer.
Snap-Link has an "OmniTouch" theme that emulates the look of an OmniTouch Touchscreen. This theme allows you to turn an Ultra Mobile PC into a Wireless Touchscreen.
Snap-Link is sold WITHOUT any subscription fees. It uses 128 bit encryption, which makes it vastly safer than other products that use web pages over non-encrypted connections.
You may setup Snap-Link to send alerts via e-mail, cell phone, or pager, based upon specified events.
"Brenda gets home from school and enters her user code into the HAI Omni-family home control system to disable the security system. Accordingly, an e-mail is automatically sent to her mother's work e-mail address informing herthat her daughter is home."
"The homeowner is unexpectedly getting to go home early from work. He uses Snap-Link to turn down the air conditioning in order to arrive home to a cool house before leaving work. "
Snap-Link inserted into Laptop Users of Snap-Link can update to the latest version for FREE at any time by just clicking on the Update link. This link will check the HAI server to see if any later versions are available, and if they are available, automatically update itself.
Snap-Link represents Plug & Go technology. Whether you're at the office, in a coffee shop, or on vacation, you can monitor and control your home's comfort settings.
Snap-Link will peacefully coexist on the same computer as HAI's Web-Link II software product.

Touchscreen Hub with Video Encoder in Enclosure
The Touchscreen Hub is available in an HAI enclosure (same as used on Omni IIe and OmniPro II). It is supplied with a switching power pack and uses two standard sealed, rechargeable security batteries (not supplied).
The use of a Touchscreen Hub with an attached Video Encoder is required to be able to view video on an OmniTouch 5.7 or OmniTouch with Video Touchscreen.
The Touchscreen Hub supports up to eight OmniTouch 5.7, OmniTouch, or OmniTouch with Video touchscreens.
The Touchscreen Hub provides battery backed power for multiple touchscreens, cameras and the Video Encoder. It has convenient connections and power terminals for a neat installation. There are inputs for six individual cameras, which can be selected by the touchscreens for viewing. Six individual outputs allow the cameras to also be viewed on monitors, TV sets, video recorders, etc.
HAI designed the Hub to eliminate the unsightly and unreliable "wall wart" transformers, power strips, "Y" connectors, external power supplies, battery back up units and complex wiring normally associated with camera and Touchscreen installations. In addition to simplifying the installation, the power supply has low voltage cut out and automatically sequences the start up of Touchscreens for long term reliability and zero maintenance. The batteries are recharged automatically.
