Two-Way Voice Module
The Model 10A11-1 Two-Way Audio/Voice Alarm Module allows two-way communication with a central station after an alarm, paging and listening from an on-premises or remote phone, annunciation of alarm and zone by voice, and voice messaging (not available on all systems). After an audible alarm, the module allows the central station to control the listen/talk mode. After a silent alarm, the module allows listen in only.

The Two-Way Voice Module provides a line-level audio output that can be tied into an amplifier or whole home audio system, such as Hi-Fi by HAI, and a page output that is activated whenever the Two-Way Voice Board generates audio output.

The Two-Way Voice Module will allow someone to broadcast messages through the phone by picking it up and dialing #832.

Do not mount speakers, microphones, 28A00 modules, or 33A00-4 consoles near any device that may produce noise (fans, air conditioning units, audio speakers, etc.). Microphones should be connected with 24 AWG or larger, shielded twisted pair wire. Wire length should not exceed 100 feet. Connect the cable shields and negative wires together at the Model 10A11-1, Rev B terminal block only. Do not connect the shield on the microphone end. Additional microphones can be connected to each input in parallel. Speakers should be connected with 18 AWG or larger, twisted pair wire. For wire runs that exceed 50 feet, use 16 AWG wire or larger. Wire length should not exceed 100 feet.

Use with HAI Part Number 33A00-4 Omni Console with Built-In Speaker/Microphone, 33A00-20 Lumina Keypad with Built-In Speaker/Microphone, 28A00-1 Surface Speaker Microphone, or 28A00-2 Flush Speaker Microphone.

WL3 for Windows Home Server
Add Monitoring and Control of Your Home to a Windows Home Server

The Windows® Home Server is a central server that stores, organizes, protects, and allows you to share all of your digital photos, music, video, and documents, while running quietly in the background. WL3 is an Add-in for this server that allows you to monitor and control your HAI home control system from any device with a web browser, such as an iPhone™ 2.0, iPod Touch™, BlackBerry™, Smartphone, computer, PDA, etc.

Simply pull up WL3 on a browser and you have instant access to your HAI home control system. From there you can:

* Conveniently control individual lights, turn off all lights in the home or room, dim lights or adjust preset lighting scenes

* View surveillance cameras - see your front door, pool, boat dock, etc.

* Conserve energy by adjusting heating and cooling and view humidity and outdoor temperatures

* Arm or disarm the alarm, view a security log to monitor activity of housekeepers, nannies, etc.

* Control your Multi-Room Audio system. Select music source and adjust volume levels in individual rooms or the whole house

* View recorded surveillance video

When the WL3 for Windows® Home Server Add-in is installed, it is continually monitoring your home. It can inform you of events such as the alarm system being disarmed or activated, a car entering the garage/driveway, or even if the wine cellar door or pool gate has been opened.

While monitoring your home WL3 can also perform the following functions:

* Record video from your surveillance cameras based on an event

* Send e-mails or text messages to inform you when an event has taken place

Cameras and Videos

Enjoying Snap-Link Mobile WL3 automatically configures supported UPnP IP cameras on your home network and allows you to manually configure other IP cameras on your network or cameras that reside anywhere on the Internet. It also allows you to view cameras in your home or from public IP cameras around town, such as traffic and weather cameras.

WL3 natively supports 60 IP camera models and requires either MJPEG or MPEG4 format support. Most MJPEG and MPEG4 cameras should function properly. Setup is simple. WL3 will automatically discover the supported UPnP IP cameras and automatically configure them. Other cameras can be added by simply configuring the IP Address, Username, and password.

Regardless of the brand of camera, the video feed is displayed in the WL3 format so that all camera feeds have a consistent look and feel. Easily select any camera, choose the frame rate and screen size, manually start and stop video recording, take a snapshot of the video image, and play, pause, or stop the video stream. WL3 Screen on Blackberry

Recorded videos and snapshots are categorized and can be viewed anytime you log into WL3, locally or via the Internet. The video can be played at normal speed or accelerated. There is even an option to step through each frame of the recorded video.

Easy to Use

WL3 for Windows® Home Server is customizable and allows you to change the user interface by applying different graphic and color schemes. You can also add RSS feeds for custom data, such as weather forecasts, sports scores, news, personal blogs, and much more, to your WL3 Home Page.

Requirements

* Requires a Windows® Home Server.

* Requires an OmniPro II, Omni IIe, Lumina Pro, or Lumina home control system that has firmware version 2.4 or higher.

HAI Snap-Link
Home Technology that is a SNAP!

Snap-Link inserted into Laptop Snap-Link software is sold on an USB key that plugs into any computer to monitor and control lights, security, temperatures, and webcams over the Internet.

It communicates through a secure Ethernet port on an HAI home control system - no on-site computer needed!

Snap-Link is easy to use and easy to setup because it is self-contained on the USB drive. All you have to do is plug the USB Drive into any computer and Snap-Link becomes available. There is no installation of the program, and when you are finished you just unplug the drive and leave no residue of the application on the computer.

Snap-Link has an "OmniTouch" theme that emulates the look of an OmniTouch Touchscreen. This theme allows you to turn an Ultra Mobile PC into a Wireless Touchscreen.

Snap-Link is sold WITHOUT any subscription fees. It uses 128 bit encryption, which makes it vastly safer than other products that use web pages over non-encrypted connections.

You may setup Snap-Link to send alerts via e-mail, cell phone, or pager, based upon specified events.

"Brenda gets home from school and enters her user code into the HAI Omni-family home control system to disable the security system. Accordingly, an e-mail is automatically sent to her mother's work e-mail address informing herthat her daughter is home."

"The homeowner is unexpectedly getting to go home early from work. He uses Snap-Link to turn down the air conditioning in order to arrive home to a cool house before leaving work. "

Snap-Link inserted into Laptop Users of Snap-Link can update to the latest version for FREE at any time by just clicking on the Update link. This link will check the HAI server to see if any later versions are available, and if they are available, automatically update itself.

Snap-Link represents Plug & Go technology. Whether you're at the office, in a coffee shop, or on vacation, you can monitor and control your home's comfort settings.

Snap-Link will peacefully coexist on the same computer as HAI's Web-Link II software product.
