Wireless X-10 devices have been around for decades. They send radio frequency (RF) signals through the air to a transceiver, where the RF signal is converted to a powerline signal.

The Outdoor Motion Sensor, PMS03, is a battery operated, RF Transmitter capable of sensing: Motion and Dusk/Dawn events. It
transmits an X10 Command to an X10 PRO RF Base Transceiver (PAT01) which then passes the X10 Command onto the AC wiring of the
structure. This can be used to control X10 PRO Receiver Modules, i.e. - Light and Appliance Modules, ON/OFF. The X10 Command can also be
used, as a trigger, to initiate Macros in the CM11A, ActiveHome Two-Way Computer Interface Module. This would allow for complex routines to be
executed as soon as the PMS03 detects motion. The PMS03 can be used indoors as well.

An internal 310Mhz receiver detects incoming RF signals generated by X10 compatible remote devices: palm pad remotes, key chain remotes, HawkEye motion detectors, and many others. These signals are filtered by an optional user defined list of allowed house and unit codes. The enabled signals are sent to a TW523, PSC05 or Powerlinc power line interface module, which then broadcasts the X10 commands down the power line to receiving modules (X10 light switch modules, lamp modules, appliance modules, etc.).

The W800RF32 family of RF receivers are designed to receive X10 RF signals generated from X10 products: Palm Pad remotes, key chain remotes, Hawkeye motion detectors, and many, many other X10 RF devices.

The W800RF32 then sends these commands directly to your computer's serial(RS232)port. This allows your computer to receive X10 RF commands from remotes and motion detectors directly, without having to broadcast any power line commands, thus minimizing power line clutter and improving home automation response times by bypassing the usual power line delay.

To use the W800RF32 you will need a dedicated computer (PC or Mac) to interpret the received commands.Available with internal or external antenna.
