Cylindrical Snap on filter. Magnet inside reduces EMI/RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) caused by noise in the wiring.

Simply loop the wire once and clamp the filter around the wire where it is doubled-up. This keeps the filter from sliding up and down the wire, as well as letting the noisy wiring pass through the filter twice.

We used this filter to clean up emissions on the IR emitter wiring of remote control setups that use RF remote controls. (Sometimes RF emissions on the IR wiring cause problems with RF remotes.)
