These devices are used to re-create the infrared signal from an electrical signal. Most of them are designed to stick to the front of a consumer electronics device and blink the IR signal directely into the device.

These non-blinking infrared emitters output a very strong signal. Use them when you have low signal strength.

The revolutionary and patented IRPrism is an Audioplex exclusive. This unique product is placed over the front of A/V component's IR sensors, will reflect incoming signals from your repeater system's emitters placed at the side, top or bottom of the units. IRPrisms attach directly to components via their self-adhesivestick pad. Get rid of unsightly emitter wires running across the front of high-end gear and improve off-axis remote control response in open cabinets with the IRPrism!

Flooding IR Emitter simplifies systems where two or three components are placedin one shelf and can be flashed with the ultra-powerful IRFloods. Mount in front, above, below or on the side of the components, the IRFlood saturates each component in the shelf space.

Multi-Room Infrared (IR) Repeater System

The IR Repeater System consists of three pieces: an IR Target, IR Emitter and a distribution block for distributing control signals to multiple emitters. The IR Target takes the signal from a remote control for an audio/video component, such as a DVD player or home theater receiver, and converts it to a low-voltage electrical signal for use over long distances and in different rooms. The electrical signal is converted backat the component to be controlled by the IR emitter. With such a set-up, a usercan control a DVD player down in the family room from an upstairs bedroom, for example. The IR Repeater System is highly useful with multi-room audio/video distribution.

One IR Emitter is used for each controlled A/V component, through the distribution block in the Structured Media Enclosure. Distribution block (Cat. No. LE-47689B) available separately.
