The 291 series are small, shelf-top IR receivers with a multitude of applications. Use them as an inexpensive method of repeating IR commands when wall-mounting an IR receiver is not practical. As with all Xantech IR receivers, the 291 can tie into multiroom IR extension systems.

291-10 Standard Includes a CB12 Connecting Block. IR modulation frequency bandwidth: 30 - 100 kHz. Nominal reception range: > 30 feet.

291-80 CFL Friendly This version of the 291 has been specifically designed to have great immunity to many sources of infrared interference and to have exceptional IR reception range. In particular, it has high rejection of IR interference generated by compact fluorescent lights (CFL). In addition, the 291-80 will operate in direct sunlight! IR modulation frequency bandwidth: 30 - 60 kHz. Adjustable IR carrier frequency: 32 to 56 kHz (allows matching to actual component for optimum performance). Nominal reception range: > 70 feet. Includes a CB12 Connecting Block.

291-95 Plasma Friendly Rejects interference from plasma displays, direct sunlight and fluorescent tube lights for accurate IR signal reception. Includes a CB12 Connecting Block.

91-KIT This kit offers everything you need to set up a IR receiver and control any 4devices. It includes the following: 789-44 1-Zone 4-Out Connecting Block, 283M 4 blink IRemitters, 291-10 IR receiver, 781RG Power supply.

Similar to the IR-2400, but includes an integrated connecting block, two dual emitters (to control up to four devices) and power supply.

Miniature IR receiver that features surface mount technology. The 480 Dinky Link was originally developed in response to requests from many of our custom installers for a small, inconspicuous receiver. It was designed for placement in verytiny spaces. One example is between the grille and baffle board of an in-wall speaker. The high sensitivity of this receiver gives you the ability to place the480 behind a grille and still receive the IR commands up to 20 feet away. If longer range is necessary, you must drill a 3/8-inch hole in the grille.

480B-00 480W-00 Standard version. Mini 3-conductor 7 ft. ribbon cable and separate screw terminal block (supplied).

480B-30 480W-30 Quick connect verison. Seven-foot cable with 3.5mm stereo mini plug permits direct plug-in to Xantech Connecting Blocks that have an 'IR RCVR' or 'AUX' jack, such as the CB12, CB20, CB60, 789-44, 791-44, etc

480-85B 480-85W LCD/CFLfriendly version. The 480-85 has an adjustable carrier frequency to providegreat immunity to CFL type infrared interference including that from LCD television monitors and direct sunlight.

480-95B 480-95S 480-95W Plasma friendly version. The 480-95 is a plasma friendly version of the 480 series Dinky Link IR receivers. It is specifically designed to have a greater immunity to plasma emissions.

480B-KIT 480W-KIT This kit offers everything you need to set up a IR receiver and control any 4 devices. It includes the following: 789-44 1-Zone 4-Out Connecting Block, 283M 4 blink IR emitters, 480x-30 CFL friendly IRreceiver, 781RG Power supply.

480-95KITB 480-95KITS This kit is the same as above 480B-KIT with a 480-95 plasma friendly reciver.

Another miniature IR receiver that features surface mount technology. The 490 has its electronics housed in a brass cylinder. The "business end" of the unit isa small round lens. This small receiver is designed to be placed in very tiny spaces. One example is a small corner of an equipment cabinet. A single, 1/2-inchhole will accommodate the 490. The high sensitivity of this receiver gives you the ability to place the 490 further away from the hand held remote, increasing the placement options you have.

490-00 490W-00 Standard Micro Link Standard version, with mini 3-conductor 7 ft. ribbon cable and separate screw terminal block (supplied). 490-00 has brass bezel, 490W-00 has white bezel.

490DW-00 Decora Micro Link J-box version of the 490W-00. Includes a whitedecorator style insert for single gang mounting. See illustration.
