No More Pointing - RF Capabilites

Radio Frequency (RF) operation provides up to 100' range though walls, floors and doors, indoors or outdoors. Self-adhesive "emitters" affix to the infrared sensors on the front panels of your components. The emitters relay IR commands to components out of sight to the MRF-250's/MRF-300's RF base station front blaster. The emitters plug in to the MRF-250's/MRF-300's RF base station rear flasher line outputs via their 10 foot cables. Six flashers are included with each MRF-250/MRF-300 RF base station.

Controls Up To 20 Components

The MX-650 controls up to 20 components. Each of the 20 components can be programmed with up to 4 pages of LCD screens, plus the 33 hard buttons. The MX-650 allows you to edit the text on each LCD screen exactly as you prefer (up to 26 screens with 10 buttons per screen, for a total of 260 available text buttons and up to 5 characters per button).

Extensive Macro Programming

The powerful memory of the MX-650 offers up to 912 potential Macro buttons. Each of these macros can play back up to 190 steps with one touch. For example: a single touch to the ON button could turn on the TV, the surround sound system, and the satellite receiver, then set the TV to the correct video input, the surround system to the right audio settings, and finish by selecting your favorite satellite TV channel.

50 Favorite Channels

The MX-650 allows the user to program up to 50 favorite channels and the 5 LCD screen will display the favorite channels that are programmed. This allows the users to access their favorite channel with one simple button press.

One Hand Ergonomics

The optimized layout of hard buttons enables you to naturally reach both 5-way thumbpad to navigate on-screen menus and the critical Transport, Channel and Volume buttons. Improved spurious adjacent signal rejection
The MRF-350 receives Narrow Band RF (radio frequency) signals via the RFX-250 RF Sensor (antenna module). The RFX-250 displays RF interference via a bright red LED which flickers when interference is present. Simply relocate the RFX-250 out of the interference area to resolve the problem.

The MRF-350 can power up to three RFX-250 RF Sensors connected in parallel to the RF Input connector.

Variable IR output matches rear panel inputs
The MRF-350 is equipped with adjustable IR line outputs. Each output can be individually matched to rear panel IR inputs on any component that is designed to be operated by a standard IR repeater. The outputs utilize a 3.5 mm jack.

Control six identical components or zones --
Up to fifteen MRF-350s in the same installation

The MRF-350 has six "addressable" IR Line Outputs. For example, you can control up to six identical TVs with one MRF-350 or route volume commands for a specific zone to a particular zone IR input on a multi-zone pre-amp. If you have more than six identical components or zones, up to 15 MRF-350s can be separately installed to control them--thereby allowing up to 90 identical components or zones in one house.

The MRF-350 is compatible with the MX-3000, MX-980, TX-1000, MX-950 and MX-900, MX-850, MX-810, MX-650, MX-350 universal remote control. Each can be programmed to specifically control components in a particular room by installing a base station at each location. In operation, it's simple: when you select a device located in the Den, the remote only send commands to the Den. When you select a device located in the Family Room, the remote only sends commands to it.

IR Input for multi-zone loop through, keypads or IR repeater systems
The MRF-350's rear panel IR input will relay IR data from IR repeaters or multi-zone keypads to all IR line outputs (does not support IR routing). The 5V, 100mA output will power some keypads directly.

The A0502 allows you to operate many of Channel Vision's whole-house audio/video systems without needing to touch the keypad. Additionally, this remote provides shuttle controls for the A0312 and other compatible iBus products.

The MRF-260 is a compact, fully addressable RF base station compatible with URC's many Narrow Band-equipped remote controls. The base station features an integrated Narrow Band receiver and antenna, two fixed line outputs for IR emitters, and two adjustable, or variable, line outputs. Each adjustable output can be matched to the IR input on any component that a standard IR repeater can operate.

Radio Frequency (RF) Range

The base station extends the reception range for flawless connectivity from compatible remotes up to 100 feet away through walls, floors and doors, indoors or outdoors. It eliminates the line-of-sight requirement, and can even be concealed in cabinets for true "Barrier Free" control.

The Narrow Band capability offers significant installation advantages. In addition to improving devices' range and reliability, it improves spurious adjacent signal rejection, ignoring unneeded signals. A bright red LED status light flickers to alert users to the presence of RF interference.

15 Different Locations

The MRF-260 can be programmed to operate equipment at up to 15 locations, like a den or a bedroom, anywhere in a house by installing an MRF-260 at each location. It also works with such devices as URC's breakthrough MSC-400 Master System Controller, which seamlessly harnesses the power of sophisticated home entertainment systems, providing options and advantages not otherwise available.

Miscellaneous

Four shallow grooves on the top panel of the MRF-260 accept standard Brother P-Touch® self-adhesive labels, allowing installers to easily identify each component connected to the corresponding outputs. The base station is designed for use with standard 3.5 mm plugs.
