These are modular plugs with 8 positions and 8 conductors for round jacketed cable.

Modular plugs go on the end of telephone and network cabling. The term "8P8C" specifies that these plugs are 8 positions wide, and have all 8 positions loaded.

A 8 position plug is physically what you are used to seeing on a network / Ethernet cable.

These plugs are designed to work best with round category rated cable (i.e. cat5)

The RX versions are for use with solid conductor wire, such as most category rated cable.

The RA versions are for use with stranded conductor wire, such as patch cable wire.

Use these connectors for terminating network patch and extension cables.
