Let's say that you have two devices stacked on top of each other and both of them have an IEC power jack. Rather than run two power cords back to an outlet or power strip, you can use this device to jumper the two IEC jacks together then use a single power cord to drive both units. You simplify cable routing and one outlet!

Tip: Daisy-chain them for even simpler wiring (just watch the total current draw to keep it below around 12 amps.) Use one for the first two devices, then one additional Liberator for each additional unit you want to power. One power cord then runs them all!
