There are many types of wire-management devices for use inside a rack. Here are a few types and what you use them for:
Horizontal Cable Managers
often go on the front of a rack that has a lot of network cables attached to it. The cable managers mount in between routers, switches, patch panels, etc. They have "rings" with openings that let you route the Cat5 or Cat6 cables cleanly to and from the dives, and usually over to the side of the rack where they go up or down to other devices or into the floor or ceiling.
