Just keeping a room or cabinet from getting too hot doesn't guarantee that the devices inside stay within acceptable operating temperatures. Most products are designed to run best at room temperature ! (68 to 74 degrees F). The cooling designed into the devices is just good enough to keep things normal on the inside of the device when the exterior is below 75 degrees. As the outside temperature rises, the internal cooling would have to increase in order to keep the inside the same temperature.
The Component Cooler devices are a simple way to achieve this extra airflow and give a wider temperature margin to your favorite components. They work best with products when they can sit directly on top of the device; right over the vents. They turn on only when needed via a built-in thermostat and are very quiet.
Have multiple devices that need cooling? Look into the COMP-COOL-3.
All units are very quiet and have a low profile. They can also go under the device. (Rubber discs are included to raise the height.)
