These strippers are specifically designed to prepare RG6 and RG59 coaxial cable for termination. The most common strip is the 1/4 x 3/8 strip. That's where approximately 3/8 inch of the bare center conductor is exposed, followed by a section 1/4 inch long where the shield is exposed.
