Fish Bit Guide
These things are cool! I've only used them a few times, but each time they got me out of a jam. When you get stuck, and don't have a clue how you're going to get a wire from point A to point B, you'd better have a fish-bit in your truck! Every time I used it and it broke through whatever it was drilling through, I was just positive it had gone wild and I would find the end poking out of the sheetrock somewhere. But no. It worked perfectly -- straight and true dead-on to where I had intended every time. Your results may vary but I'll bet you're pleased.

Pullsleeve, 1/2in
The PullSleeve is a very flexible, heavy duty, 'double wall' weave monofilament sock designed to pull pre-connected coax and twisted pair, single or bundled cables. Its unique double wall construction reduces the fraying of the sleeve itself, while adding extra protection for the connectors. The sleeve is fused into a bullet shape, high resistance bull-nose head with cross hole to make pulling these connected cables as easy as unfinished wires.

FiberSnake 25ft
Maybe you've seen the metal fishtape the electricians use. Maybe you've even used it. If you have, you'll instantly recognize why the FiberSnake is so much better! Electricians use fishtape to 'fish' wires from one point to another. Like down the insides of walls, across attics, etc. The idea is that you work the 'stiffer' materiel through where you need the wire to go, attach the wire onto the end, then pull it back out pulling the wire into place. Metal fishtape tends to retain its bend and is very difficult to work with when extended. The FiberSnake has practically no bend to it when deployed from the simple, easy to use carrier. It doesn't conduct electricity, it is lighter than metal fishtape, and the bullnose on the end is smaller to fit through tighter spaces.

Green 3ft Push/Pull Rod
The fiberglass green and luminous push/pull rods have a bullet shape tip with cross hole (bullnose) on both ends, and, unlike the GloRod wire pushers, these can be used to pull wire as well. The luminous rods are made of phosphorous epoxy fiberglass truly glowing in the dark after being 'charged' in full light. The epoxy fiberglass makes them stronger than the regular 'green' rods, therefore a little stiffer.

Mini Scoping Retriever
- Drill a small hole through the header from the attic into the wall-cavity.
- Drop the bead-chain all the way into the wall cavity through the hole. The ring will keep the end from going through.
- Below: Make a small hole in the sheetrock, bend the rod to suit, and stick the rod through into the wall-cavity.
- "Fish" around a bit and remove the rod. You'll find that it is usually quite easy to snag the bead-chain with the magnet and get the end pulled through the h
- ole in the sheetrock.
- Attach your wire to the chain, go up to the attic, and pull the wire through using the chain. A tremendous time-saver!
