The ASL-1 allows you to use "legacy meters" (all satellite meters that are not "SWM" compatible) to peak (aim) a SWM system, such as a system with a SWM-8 or a SL5S SWM LNB.
Note that a SWM-PI is required, even if the legacy meter provides LNB power.
When you need fast, accurate alignment of satellite dishes, there's no better solution than Steren's SkyTracker digital satellite meters. These lightweight meters feature easy-to-read displays and convenient push-button operation. Compatible with Dish Network and DirecTV systems, the meters can be powered either with the external rechargeable battery pack or through the satellite receiver. Functions include signal strength, current consumption and receiver output voltage. The 203-622 meter also offers overload protection with an LNBF current draw limiter and a built-in 22kHz tone generator for controlling multiswitches. These SkyTracker meters come packaged with a 120VAC power adapter/charger, 12V car adapter/charger, NiCd battery pack, leather carrying case and an RG6 jumper.
Testing for continuity, shorts, 50-75 Ohm termination, and polarity has never been easier! PTNX2 also now tests for the presence of both AC and DC voltages from 6v-48v.
For the first time satellite installers can test for receiver voltage to confirm there is voltage present to power the devices at the dish! Another exciting exclusive Pocket Toner® NX series feature that
satellite installers will find indispensable is voltage protection in both the main unit and the detachable toner unit. Now you not only use NX2 to test for the presence of AC/DC voltages, but you need not worry about destroying your Pocket Toner® by exposing it to voltages 6v-48v. Additionally, the small and effective Dial Tone Detective (DTD) can instantly indicate the presence of dial tone and proper polarity at a voice jack.
HAI is proud to introduce Web-Link II - a great new way to access your HAI system via the Internet. Web-Link II allows you to monitor and adjust settings for lighting, heating and air, security, and appliances with the added benefit of wireless access, video surveillance, and email notification of programmed events. HAI's Web-Link II will work inside a home on a single PC, and with a group of PC's on a local network. It also takes advantage of the full-time Internet connection provided by popular cable modems and DSL. These connections, combined with Web-Link II's intuitive, easy to use pages make it quick and easy to check on the house with video surveillance, verify the kids have arrived home from school via email notification, and adjust the temperature right from
your office PC, PDA, or web-enabled phone. HAI Web-Link II runs in the background on a Windows 98, 2000, or NT computer connected to any HAI Omni-class controller. HAI Web-Link II software generates Web pages from the controller's data that can be viewed locally and on any networked computer via Internet or Local Area Network. After installing Web-Link II, no set up is required: Web-Link II's smart software obtains its configuration from the HAI controller and presents a
series of pages following the standard HAI menu format. Web-Link II has advanced the initial Web-Link technology by adding features that allow a homeowner to view family and property with video surveillance, and enjoy wireless access over a PDA or web-enabled phone. In addition, a homeowner can receive emails based on programmed events or send and receive instant messages.

This is a deluxe Satellite Signal Level Meter with an internal power supply. The power supply is an internal rechargeable nicad battery pack. The internal battery pack allows a dish to be aligned before it is connected to the satellite receiver. The battery pack is switchable between 13 and 18V output, allowing either polarization to be selected when used with a voltage switched LNB. In US DBS applications, LHCP is selected when the LNB voltage is nominally 17V.
Satellite IF (950-2150 MHz) amplification and a broadband detector.
Selector switches to measure voltage, current, and signal strength.
Built-in rechargeable batteries and battery test functions.
Allows measurement of voltage on the coaxial cable.
Built-in speaker emits rising/falling tones to allow no-look aiming of the dish.
Includes carrying strap and AC charger.
Now with built-in 22Khz generator for HDTV and multiple satellite testing!

Satellite Signal Meter-Dual
Now this is a real piece of test equipment! If you're setting up dual satellite systems, you gotta have this meter. It is essentially two meters in one, allowing you to peak both LNB's simultaneously.
