Grounding blocks allow a connection to the outer shield of one or more coaxial cables. When connected to a cold water pipe with a ground clamp or other kind of earth ground, the coaxial cable is said to be "bonded" to ground and is protected from some forms of surges, ground loops, and interference.
The grounding block is usually placed on the coaxial feed near the antenna, dish, or CATV feed just before entering the residence.
The grounding block can be wired with 14 gauge single conductor wire. (We sell green coated wire, although the wire can be bare.)
Note: 3G versions are rated to 3 GHz.
