The VideoEase S-Video/Hi-Fi Balun allows a single S-Video signal to be transmitted via unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable up to 1000 ft (305m) in a point-to-point connection. The S-Video/Hi-Fi Balun features full audio bandwidth response for high fidelity applications and features built-in color-coded cable leads forease of installation. The S-Video/Hi-Fi Balun also works in conjunction with MuxLab's Audio-Video Distribution Hub (p/n 500200) to allow S-Video programming tobe distributed via UTP. Some of the applications are; classroom video distribution, commercial and home audio/video systems, hospital video training, video conferencing, and video kiosks.

The Intelix AVO-SVA2 balun transmits an S-video and stereo audio signal up to 1,000 feet over standard structured pair cabling, such as Cat 5.

ChannelPlus now offers video and audio distribution with full IR control over CAT 5 with the new SVC-10. The SVC-10 can send S-video or composite video with either digital or analog audio to any room up to 1000' away.

The new SVC-10 is designed for CAT 5 or 5e structured wire installations. The SVC-10 is compatiblewith both NTSC and PAL video standards. The two-piece SVC-10 system consist of a rack mountable 1U transmitter with inputs for S-video, composite, digital and analog audio along with a IR emitter jack and RJ-45 output connector. Each inputhas auto-termination loop-thru for connecting a local video/audio system. The miniature in-room receiver has one RJ-45 input and one each of S-video, composite, digital and analog audio outputs along with a 12 volt IR target input jack.
