Description

The C-0333 is an 8-output amplified splitter with a built in combiner for modulated signals. They allow IR signals to pass through the modulator input to the TV outputs, making it a perfect match for the E2200IR, E3200IR or E4200IR. The C0333 is designed to mount directly into a Channel Vision structured wiring enclosure.

This amplifier is designed with the bandwidth and low-noise necessary for today's demanding off-air digital tv and densely packed cable tv signals. The built-in combiner and splitter is matched with the internal amplifier to create a zero-loss system with an overall gain of 4.5 dB, which is just right to allow up to 100 feet of cable to the unit, and up to 100 feet of cable to up to 8 TVs with no signal loss.

NOTE: Modern digital cable systems tend to use most (if not all) of bandwidth available on the cable. This leaves no room for modulated signals. Therefore the "modulator input" of this device (and any combiner) will only work properly if there are NO signal frequencies in common between the two cables being combined..

For example, if you want to combine a modulator set to channel 61 onto your cable signal and distribute it throughout your home, you must make certain that the digital cable feed does not contain any signal at the NTSC 61 frequency. Since digital cable systems can put their signals anywhere they want, unrelated to "channel number", there is no way to tell if this is the case.

  • Amplified return path from 5-42 MHz
