Decora Size Opening Inserts

Leviton Manufacturing created the Decora® style of wall-plate opening for their "paddle style" light switches. It is also used for GFI outlets and so the wall-plates are sometimes called GFI style. Today, decora style wall-plates, switches, and outlets are available from many manufacturers and it has become an industry standard.

The three types of common wall-plate openings are "toggle" (for traditional old style light switches), "Decora" for paddle style switches, etc., and "duplex" with the two oblong circles for old style electrical outlets.
