Line Level Wall Plates (RCA connectors)

Line level audio signals are usually connected with RCA cables and connectors. The RCA connectors often have a colored strip that indicates the audio channel. The color scheme for stereo is usually red for right and white or black for left. The color scheme for 5.1 or 7.1 home theater is:

• Front Right speaker: Red
• Front Left speaker: White
• Center Channel: Green
• Left Surround (side): Blue
• Right Surround (side): Gray
• Left Back Surround: Brown
• Right Back Surround: Tan
• Subwoofer: Purple
