Line-Level Audio Inserts
To Make a Line-Level Audio Jack:
Solder (8450-1) line-level audio cable to the jack per the diagram
Drill a1/4" hole in a blank insert (41084-Bx not included) and install the jack in the hole. (Note that you may need to countersink the back of the hole a little so that the jack sits completely flush.) Make sure that the nut goes all the way down and is flush with the connector center.Otherwise, the plug will not go in completely.
Snap the assembly into a quickport frame and screw the frame into the wall.
Use a (172-0003) 1/8' phone plug to two RCA jack Y harness to 'break out' line level audio to RCA connectors. (See wiring diagram picture.)
To Make an Infrared Receiver Jack:
Solder your IR cable (2242A-1) quad or (1583A) cat5 to the jack per this diagram.
Drill a 1/4" hole in a blank insert (41084-Bx not included) and install the jack in the hole. (Note that you may need to countersink the back of the hole a little so that the jack sits completely flush.) Make sure that the nut goes all the way down and is flush with the connector center.Otherwise, the plug will not go in completely.
Snap the assembly into a quickport frame and screw the frame into the wall.
Plug the IR pickup directly into the jack.

component performance requirements in the ratified
TIA-568-B.2-10 standard for Augmented Category 6
from 1 MHz to 500 MHz to support the IEEE 802.3an
standard for 10GBASE-T network performance. Each
CAT 6A connector is designed to be used with Leviton
