The 590-10 gives the custom installer the ability to use any push button or contact closure to initiate infrared commands. The 590-10 incorporates 16 isolated input circuits and a learning microprocessor. There are 16 pairs of screw terminals on its rear panel for use with up to 16 individual contact closures.

Used in conjunction with the 590 Progammable controller. Provides a momentary 12 volt DC pulse output when a steady 5 to 12 volt DC input is applied. By plugging a 781C power supply into a switched AC outlet on the back of an AM/FM receiver, a low voltage, switched DC signal is made available to the 590.
