Remove heat right at the source. Optimized for components on open shelving, this quiet cooler turns on automatically when satellite/cable boxes, receivers and other heater generating components get too hot. Place the component cooler directly on top of equipment vents. The COMP-COOL-3 is available for systems that require multiple components to be cooled.
The low-profile unit produces minimal noise and fits beneath most equipment. Rubber discs are included to raise the height of stacked equipment if necessary.

- Very low power consumption
- Rated for continuous operation
- Add only 2" -- 2.5" to equipment height

It's always been a challenge: How to put a heat-sensitive component on top of a hot amplifier or receiver without overheating both units. We have the solution -- The Cool-Shelf. When placed on top of the amplifier, it gently and quietly blows a constant stream of cool air into the vents.
Installation can be done in a snap. Plug the Cool-Shelf's power adapter into a switched outlet, and you're done. What if there isn't a switched outlet? You have the option of our thermostatic control. No longer will you have to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous temperatures when you place one component atop the other ... not when you can have the coolest shelf of all.

The Cool-Plate
|
|
|---|
- Extremely quiet
- Covers a wide range of applications; solves a wide range of overheating
problems
- Very low power consumption
- Rated for continuous operation
Specifications (PDF)
|
Unlike the original "on top" Cool-it unit, Cool-Plate becomes the base for those amplifiers or receivers with centralized bottom-ventilation. Typical components requiring this unit are the Madrigal HPA 2 and HPA 3.
The Cool-Plate includes two very quiet 120 mm fans move a constant stream of air up through the equipment, efficiently cooling while maintaining unprecedented silence. Flexible air dams (shown in the animated picture) prevent air leakage.

The Cool-Sat

- Extremely quiet
- Covers a wide range of applications; solves a wide range of overheating
problems
- Very low power consumption
- Rated for continuous operation
Specifications (PDF)

Surprisingly, even though satellite receivers are small and consume a small
amount of power, they typically run hot and tend to fail because of overheating. Many have almost no ventilation openings. To make things worse, when you think they are turned off, many don’t actually shut down completely because they remain on standby and continue to generate heat. The result is unnecessary damage to the receiver and access cards.
Cool-Sat is your simple and inexpensive insurance against premature satellite receiver failure. Positioned under the receiver, the Cool-Sat sends a gentle stream of cooling air up and through the receiver, assuring a safe operating temperature and longevity. Almost completely silent, this unit is virtually inaudible beyond three feet. Best of all it adds only 2.5" to the receiver height. Power consumption is less than 5 watts, making it practical to leave on all the time.

The newest generation of digital devices (PVRs, satellite receivers and digital receivers) may be "cool" to operate, but they're anything but cool when it comes to generating heat. And, as we all know, heat ain't cool -- it’s destructive if not brought down to reasonable temperatures. Added to this is the fact that many manufacturers have been steadily increasing the footprint of their equipment. This not only cramps the "breathing room" for shelves or racks holding the various pieces of equipment, but also greatly increases the temperature rise within the area. What's even worse is that even when these gadgets are "off," they are at least partially "on."

Ideal for amps, receivers and almost anything else that could overheat in
your system. They're easy to install; just center the unit above the heat sinks and plug the power supply into an AC outlet. A soothing stream of cool air quietly flows down and between the heat sink fins lowering the temperature to more tolerable levels. The Cool-It is your solution for equipment housed within partially enclosed cabinets. Controlled by a thermal switch, Cool-It II is fully automatic.

SEC-1 Small Enclosure Cooler |

|
Features- Thermally operated multi-speed exhaust fans.
- Ultra quiet operation.
- Includes fans on plastic panel, power supply, controller, and cabling.
Specifications
| Max. Cabinet Size | 12 Cubic Feet | | Fans | 2 x 80mm | | Fan Panel Size | 8.5" x 4.5" x 1.5" Deep |
|
|
New for 2007, we introduce the SEC-1, a complete system for ventilating smaller cabinets up to The SEC-1 consistis of a mounting panel to which two high-quality, virtually silent 80 mm fans are attached, a power supply, a magnetically-held thermal control module, and comprehensive installation instructions.
Installation, covered in detail and illustrated in a comprehensive guide, consists of cutting a rectangular hole for the fan panel, providing a fresh air inlet, placing a magnetically-held thermal switch assembly on top of the hottest-running component, and plugging a wall-type power supply into an AC outlet.
An important feature of the SEC-1 is that it runs continually at a slow speed to deal with the heat dissipation of today's cable boxes and satellite receivers when a home theater system is off, switching to a higher (but very quiet) speed when it's on and equipment temperature rises. Another is the ease with which the thermal control module magnetically attaches to equipment to be monitored. All components of the SEC-1 plug together; no wire cutting, stripping, or soldering is required.
