Features

Utilizing "old work" junction boxes and low voltage mounting brackets, the installer can configure the three device openings with any combination of devices.
A low profile frame comes with the R.E.B. This frame meets consumer's aesthetic expectations by providing a neat, clean recessed installation.
A snap-in junction box cover provides the installer with a means of running electrical piping for component to component applications.
The R.E.B. can be used for new construction (stud-mounted) and retrofit (wall-mounted) applications.
An optional High Profile cover (47617-HPC) is also available that channels all wires through the bottom of the R.E.B. for a neat, finished installation.
Offered in paintable white ABS molded plastic, providing structural integrity equal to or better than, comparable metal enclosures at less cost.

Box Buddy Low-Voltage Mounting Rings

Expand a 1- or 2-Gang electrical box by 1 or 2 low voltage gangs.

Box Buddy low voltage mounting rings are designed for positioning low voltage devices next to 110 VAC electrical boxes with standard NEC spacing so that the combined 110 and low voltage device(s) may be covered with one multi-gang coverplate for an elegant appearance. The Box Buddy uses a patent pending pull-off alignment tool that makes combined installation and alignment of 110 VAC and low voltage devices simple and quick.

Use our Decora frames and inserts. Fill unused positions with a blank Decora strap, then cover with standard Decora wallplates for an ultra-clean installation.

Note: The space available in the low-voltage gang next to the high-voltage box is limited because the high-voltage box encroaches on that space. Many low-voltage devices will not fit in this gang location. The second low-voltage position (in BB-12 and BB-22) is full width. We recommend that you purchase one set and try a test fitting with the intended devices before committing to a specific layout.

Combines low-voltage and AC wallboxes

These metal brackets convert a single- or dual-gang electrical box into a 2- to 4-gang outlet for use with standard 2- to 4-gang wallplates. They allow electrical outlet wiring to be safely combined in one wallplate assembly with QuickPort outlets by providing the barrier between low-voltage and AC devices required by the National Electrical Code. The bracket also eliminate an unsightly (and difficult to align) proliferation of boxes.

Alignment tool helps attach brackets so that the wallplates will line up later.

1-Gang Expander Bracket

This low voltage bracket provides a low voltage outlet next to a previously installed high voltage outlet. Great for both new construction and rework, it attaches easily to most electrical boxes, and is designed to fit a standard two-gang faceplate. Resi-Rings accept 3 /4" Resi-Gard only.

Attaching the Add-On Bracket is a �snap.� You just remove the back of the double-sided tape (1), clip the bracket in place (2), and press on the bracket to secure it against the box (3).

For applications where a combined high and low voltage closed back box is needed, such as placement in a fire-rated wall, we offer our Carlon SuperBlue� two-, three-, and four-gang wiring boxes with a slip-in-place divider to give you the split box you need for the low voltage outlet.

What could be easier than converting one of our Carlon SuperBlue boxes for both high and low voltage use? Just slip the divider into place, and you�re ready to go. Great for situations requiring a dual voltage fire-rated box.
