Imagine doing the following: (Follow along with the pictures above.)

• Test for continuity by touching one point with your finger and another with the probe tip! The LED lights bright blue if there is continuity. (It's measuring through your body.) Couldn't be faster or easier.
• Test for, and measure, AC voltage by touching the probe tip to the wire/contact. That's all! Don't ask me how it works, but it works perfectly for me every time!
• Test for, and measure, DC voltage by touching the probe tip to the wire/contact.
