HDTV Interconnect and & Adapter CablesThe cable over which High Definition TV signals are transmitted consists of five RG59 coaxial cables. Each cable carries a specific portion of the video signal: Red, Green, Blue, Chrominance and Luminance. This is also referred to as UXGA.HDTV and Plasma screens have either a UXGA interface (15 pin high-density "D") or 5 BNC connectors (or both). If the video source (DVD, satalite, etc.) and screen are in difference locations, an HDTV cable needs to be run between them. HomeTech recommends running this cable through the wall if at all possible. We can also provide everything needed for proper connectivity from source to screen. |
